At Chief Solano Kennel Club, we want to extend the opportunity for volunteer hours to our local community. Whether you are in 4H, FFA, or are just someone looking for more volunteer opportunities - we welcome you to fill out a form regarding a volunteer position that piques your interest.
Volunteer opportunities are flexible - you do not have to stay the whole time. 

"What if I can't come consistently?"
That's ok! Just let us know on your form.

"Are the volunteer positions paid?"
No, we do not offer monetary compensation for our volunteers. 

"Do I need experience working with dogs to volunteer?"
No.

"Is there an orientation or training session required?"
There is no orientation. Training is shown / explained before the event or the day of the event before it starts.

"Do I need to be a part of the club to volunteer?"
No. Volunteering provides a great way to learn about dogs, dog showing, dog sports (rally, obedience, conformation, etc.). After volunteering you may want to join Chief Solano Kennel Club!

"Do I have to do all the items listed for the event I would like to volunteer for?"

No. Pick which ones you would be interested in and the day of we will give you your assignments.
